Micah Holst, President of Marisol International, began his journey in the global transportation and trade industry in 2004 as a member of the Marisol export operations team. In 2006, Micah transitioned into the sales organization, focusing on building long-term partnerships with customers while working with operations to ensure Marisol exceeds customer expectations. In 2013 Micah became President of Marisol International and has since led the organization with a focus on continuous improvement and increased customer service. Micah graduated from Missouri State University with a Bachelor's Degree in General Business in 2000. Prior to joining Marisol International, Micah played professional baseball in the San Francisco Giants organization for four seasons. Micah resides in Kansas City and can be reached at 816-505-9800.
Bruce Chilton joined Marisol International in 2005 and currently serves as Director of Trade Management. Bruce oversees the contracting division, managing the purchase of transportation for Marisol International. He also leads Marisol's Pricing and Domestic Services teams. Bruce is experienced and well versed in U.S. import and export services as well as supply chain management best practices. In his career, he has served as Director of Operations and Vice President of Sales for both asset based and third party transportation organizations. Bruce has provided insight to hundreds of import and export clients, explaining market functions, volatility and pressures. Today, Bruce provides Marisol International with market guidance and contract development so customers have cost effective means to transport cargo in both the domestic and international marketplaces. Carie Samuel, a founding member of the Marisol International team, has been involved with international forwarding and brokerage since 1990. She began her career with Fritz Companies in import operations, working into management roles after securing her Customs Brokers License in 1996. Carie has filled the roles of Import Supervisor, Import Manager, Operations Manager, Customer Service Manager and General Manager before moving into Compliance in January of 2013. In August of 2013, Carie became the Chief Compliance Officer for Marisol International, responsible for various customs and other government agency requirements and licenses. In this role, she has worked as the CBP liaison for Marisol and has also led the ACE transition over the last 24 months. Carie has presented various webinars and seminars for Marisol's clients including Incoterms, Exporting 101, Red Flags of Exporting and Importing 101. Carie also oversees the initial and continuous training programs for Marisol International employees. Carie is a Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) and a Certified Export Specialist (CES) through the NCBFAA NEI certification program. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Education (1989) and a Master of Science in Education from Missouri State University (1997).
